   Dinner at The Lewes Oyster House was quite pleasant, as usual. Food was good. The crab bisque was not typical, but very tasty. Only issue was slightly slow service. However, it was a crowded Saturday night!

   Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Lewes Oyster House. Everything I had was great, but the scallops were outstanding. The chef got a perfect sear on them and they were tender and creamy inside. The dish had amazing complexity of textures and flavors due to the creamy sweet smokiness of the carrot puree, bright crunch of pomegranate, and salty chewiness of the pancetta. Inspired. Tamara was a delightful server and my family and I had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

   Introduced friends to a charming Lewes favorite. Food was especially good tonight. Service from Claira made the evening. Another big thanks to Diego for the wine recommendation and the.Friendly banter.

   We used to love Lewes Oyster House, but the past three times have been disappointing. We tried both specials and old standards and had issues with each. The oysters from the raw bar were good as was the crab soup. However, a special appetizer of bao buns with fried oysters was flavorless and mostly bun. A special entree of pork was oddly cooked with parts of the meat undercooked while other parts were overcooked and the preparation of angry butter did nothing to compliment the flavor of the pork. The lobster roll, a standard and old favorite, was quite small and rather dry. Additionally, the limp, barely warm fries that it came with were uninspiring. Sadly, we won't be returning.

   Lewes Oyster House is a favorite for a broad selection of fresh oysters and some imaginative and delicious food offerings. Located in the classic Rose and Crown tavern, it offers ambiance with both bar and booth seating. Make a reservation as it’s often crowded.

   Our experience was excellent, server was outstanding. Good delivery timely and delicious! Best burger and cat fish in town. Green beans and key lime pie out of this world. Going back for ice cream tomorrow!!
