Located in the historic district, Lewes Oyster House honors the rich heritage of ubiquitous and democratic oyster consumption in 18th and 19th century Middle Atlantic taverns and oyster houses. We serve inspired tavern fare, expertly prepared with fresh, regionally-sourced ingredients along with crisp lagers, interesting wines, and artisanal cocktails. All that, and a whole lot of love.

Please join us for lunch Tuesdays through Saturdays in the Tap Room, Oyster Bar or Main Bar. We do not accept reservations for lunch.

Walk-ins for dinner are always welcome first-come first-served at the Oyster and Main bar areas, all evening long beginning at 5 p.m.

Online reservations for dinner are VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for the Walsh Room and Tap Room.

    On Sunday, January 12, join us for an exclusive 5-Course Wine Dinner where Chef Sean Corea, Diego Lascano and a guest Master Sommelier will guide you on a culinary journey celebrating the wines of Australia. Guests will enjoy wines from Giant Steps, Hickenbotham and Yangarra Estate. Join us for an evening of education, indulgence, and inspiration that will tantalize your taste buds and ignite your imagination. Reserve your place today and experience a night you won't soon forget. The evening will begin with a sparkling reception at 6pm at our Oyster Bar, where Chef Sean and Diego will greet guests. Please arrive promptly. This is a collaborative wine dinner, and seating will be shared between guest parties.

    Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Lewes Oyster House! Chef Sean Corea and team will feature a decadent Four-Course Prix Fixe Menu with optional wine pairing. Gather your friends and ring in 2025 at Lewes Oyster House! *PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING* -There will be a time limit on your reservation. Parties of 1-4 (2.5 hours); Parties of 5-7 (2.75 hours); Parties of 8 (3 hours) -$105 (set price per person for food) includes a first course, second course, third course and dessert -$49 optional wine pairing will be offered -We will not be able to accommodate parties larger than 8 for this evening. - Last seating will be at 9pm.

                          It was noisy, we were seated at a booth next to the bar which was too small for four guests. The Buffalo oysters were too thick with flour to taste the oysters and the souse to hot/spicy for the dish. The other items were cooked well and enjoyed. The cost was probably just justified for the overall level of quality of the whole experience.

                          LOH did not disappoint! Great service from Alex; the scallops were amazing. Loved the holiday cocktails. We weren’t rushed and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. How lucky are we to have such a wonder restaurant in Lewes!

                          The hostess and service were excellent. We got to sit where we wanted -the oyster bar so my daughter who lives in Dallas could have a great oyster house experience. The food was great! Oysters presented and explained well, staff friendly and prompt service.

                          Food was so so. Oysters did not seem fresh which was surprising. We have been there before and it was better. Service was a bit slow.

                          Our server was not very good. She put in orders late and forgot to put in some orders. Guests got their apps at different times and one diner got his entree after everyone else had completed their meal.

                          This restaurant is our families favorite. The food and drinks are the best in Lewes and Rehoboth in my opinion. The staff are great and knowledgeable about the dishes and what goes into them. 10 out of 10 every time!!!
