Lidia's features authentic, regional Italian cuisine. Every item at the restaurant is house-made entirely from scratch with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in-house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh.

Every day Lidia's offers a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas. We also feature many seafood, chicken, pork, and beef options. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs including gluten-free items.

Lidia's is located in the historic Freighthouse-- a beautiful 19th century building. The stunning decor includes three hand-blown chandeliers, a three-story slate fireplace, and cozy, New York style seating.

Please note: Separate billing for parties of 6 or more is not allowed. Maximum of 3 cards per transaction.

We are conveniently located within short walking distance of the KC Streetcar stops at 18th and Main and the Union Station stop. From both stops, you will find a staircase that leads to the Freighthouse District just south of 20th and Main on the West side of the street.

Our server Matthew was friendly, attentive, and gracious making our experience special for New Years Eve in the packed restaurant. The Fritto Misto was delicious to start our meal with a bottle of prosecco sold at a very economical cost. The chef's trio pasta overfilled our plates and bellies leaving just enough room for tiramisu and affagotto with our coffee and espresso martini. Delish!

As with past visits, the service, food and dining experience was wonderful. The Pasta Trio offering was delicious, especially the Bolognese. It was a nice place to enjoy a relaxing New Year’s Eve dinner.

overall great experience!!! restaurant is absolutely stunning, the wait staff are extremely thoughtful and will go the extra mile for you!! we both got the pasta trio sampler, i’m not exactly sure if we needed to request more or if it was because we didn’t finish our plates, but we weren’t offered more so unsure of how its “unlimited” exactly. that being said, its very filling, super super yummy bread and salad. desserts were AMAZING! got a free birthday one too! drinks were lovely as well, just very strong lol.

We were ignored for most of our meal and had to call servers over multiple times. Our waitress did not bring several items we asked for. Food was good when it finally came after we had to call the waiter to the table again. Understandable on a busy night but the restaurant was half empty

We dined last night to celebrate my birthday and it was such a treat for everyone involved! Miranda served us and was incredibly attentive to our needs and preferences, and gave excellent advice on which wine to pair with our meals! Thank you to the team at Lidia’s for a unique and enjoyable experience, everyone left feeling satisfied and overjoyed!
