    Staff were extremely friendly and the service was good. Unfortunately there were not many Gluten-free desert options and the meals, especially the beef sliders, were unappetising and disappointing. Complimentary parking is great perk.

    I have been taking groups to Limewood for dinner now for over 15 years. The name is changed, but the place is still the same. Tonight the menu was very confusing. It didn’t have anything that really wet together between the starters and the menu entrées and the sides. We have these Squash pasta, and it was so boring and grabbed that I sent mine back. Something I’ve never done at the Claremont ever. Sure the price is high but so is every restaurant right now. For $369. I would’ve expected better food and better selections from the chef.

    Excellent customer service and outstanding staff, we wish to call out M who was our server and always does an incredible job in making feel welcomed and valued. We have nothing but superlatives to offer !

    We were at Limewood for breakfast, and the food was fabulous. I had the mushroom omelet, my partner had the pancakes, and both were outstanding. we'll go back for a dinner soon,

    Nicely appointed restaurant, great staff with attentive non-intrusive service. One of the best views in the Bay Area. But.... the food on the lunch menu is sub-par. I eat here 5 or 6 times per year based solely on the view and service. The limited LUNCH menu is not to my taste, and i've eaten almost all entrees on offer. Hamburger is over-spiced, the bacon on the BLT is too tough to eat, the fish has been dry and tasteless. I think this a problem with the recipes, no the chef. So, fix the menu and selections but leave the fine view and service just as is.

    Service was great, The food is awful. Over priced, and just not very good. I ordered a salad added prawns ( $22 for 3 SMALL prawns?!?) The salad was fishy, the prawns were awful, tasted over cooked and smelled terrible NO one at my table finished their meals Everything is over fried, and over sauced. and WAY over priced for what it is I used to love this restaurant and brought clients from out of town to show it off Embarrassing

    Location in the historic, fabulous Claremont Hotel can’t be beat. We dined on a crystal clear night with views of the bay and the city that are unparalleled. Attentiveness of our server was fabulous and we did not feel rushed in anyway, one of my favorite places to spend an evening as a lifetime Bay Area resident.

    The food didn’t have adequate seasoning. Very bland. The service was great. Could have been an off night.

    The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The service was excellent. The menu, however, was so limited and dissappointing. For example, two eggs, potatoes, and bacon. Really, not an eggs Benedict to be had on a weekend brunch menu? Going to the Claremont is a big deal and the restaurant needs to up the game on the menu offerings.
