In collaboration with Chef Michelle McQueen, Chef Joseph Paire will host a dining experience at Limewood on Tuesday, December 31st, from 5:00 p.m. Limited Reservations available. The menu is $175 per person, and the wine pairing supplement is $115.00 per person (excluding tax & gratuity) chanterelle mushroom galette feta, caramelized shallot, Thai basil, persimmon buttermilk fried quail caviar creme fraiche, sweet potato hot sauce pan roasted Pacific striped bass escovitch sauce hoppin’ john charred arrowhead cabbage pippin apples chimichurri braised oxtail baby collard greens, sweet potato gnocchi chocolate mousse with Tsar Nicolai caviar toasted pecan graham cracker, salted caramel, Valrhona chocolate, meringue

In general a nice dining experience. The food is solidly good. Unfortunately, this evening our entrees were served stone cold - they had clearly been sitting waiting for the server to pick them up.

Very paired back compared to previous holiday seasons. The menu was also paired back a lot from our usual normal visits. Service was slow, understandable for a holiday season, but the quality and atmosphere did not seem a priority especially for the prices.

Over priced drinks. $24 for a martini! Ridiculous!Overcooked fish and chicken. Absolutely no moisture left. Validation for parking didn’t work. Had to pay $9.00 to get out of the lot in the pouring rain. My last experience wasn’t much better. Never again will I risk spending $150 per person for a lousy meal. Service was excellent. I hope the new owners keep the wait staff, fire the managers and completely replace the kitchen. Absolutely no pride in what they put on the plate.

Service was not up to par. Disorganized. Our server took 7 out of 8 pp drink orders. It took awhile to place an appetizer order by the time the appetizers were served, we had polished off our drinks and the 8th drink arrived around the same time as appetizers. Our server then only took 3 of 7pp drink orders and did not feel the need to check in with rest. Our water server was awesome attentive in refills and happy to hail down our main server to order more drinks and food. Our main server never asked us regarding mains, we again had to request another food order. It was a busy night and there seemed to be enough servers on hand perhaps our main server was having a bad night. It’s a hit or miss at Limewood.

The food was good. We had a 9:15 reservation and they seated us around 9:25. Once the took our order it was a rush to get or order in because of last call which dampened the mood a bit.

The service was fantastic! Unfortunately the place was very very noisy And we strained to hear each other talk. They tell me that new management is coming in and we very much hope they will put in carpets and acoustical tile so that we can enjoy this place much more.

Very good service. There is nothing special about the ambiance, excepting the beautiful city view. The tables could have used a flower, or greenery and a placemat. Maybe you’d call it contemporary ( stark) casual. The spacing of tables is good, lighting was soft. Pricey for what you get. No garnish on plates, $16 for an order of Parker house rolls. Food was not very hot when it arrived ( except for French fries). It was cool area by windows, I guess to be expected for fabulous city view. Overall pleasant but by no means outstanding.

Great wait staff, everything was great, they need to warn people about the hot dipping sauce served with rock fish appetizer. My wife was OK after about a gallon of ice water!
