Nestled next door to Craft Tasting Room and Growler shop in South End. The seasonal menus’ are inspired by the roots of the region and local farmers and committed to being 100% seed oil free. A locally owned gem for both Brunch and Dinner where health is the forefront our philosophy as a seed oil free restaurant that has a variety of menu items that are both gluten free and vegetarian. The restaurant is also known for innovative bar program led by Beverage Director Amanda Britton with cocktails featuring house made shrubs, sodas, barrel-aged cocktails, zero poof and curated wine list. The restaurants midcentury nostalgic rustic yet refined design finds the balance between nature and modern, featuring a moss wall, lime washed brick, a walnut live edge bar, 48 seat dining room and a 30 seat roof top deck.

    We had a perfect Valentine's dinner. The prices were fair for a higher-end venue, but the food was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the rustic, industrial vibe with dim lighting set the perfect mood. We kicked things off with handcrafted cocktails, followed by a lobster bisque appetizer, which immediately proved the restaurant's prices were justified by its flavors. The bisque was a burst of taste, with the lobster seasoned just right, and the soup had a delightful handheld companion. For the main course, I ordered the steak frites, cooked medium rare. It was my first time trying it this way, and it was perfectly pink, not at all bloody, with a beautifully browned exterior. It was well-seasoned, tender, and juicy, paired with crispy, house-made fries. My partner had the seabass, which was cooked perfectly, retaining its natural moisture and flavor, complemented by a sauce. For dessert, we indulged in a rich and light chocolate sponge cake topped with mousse and ice cream—it was indulgent yet easy to enjoy. We left the restaurant feeling satisfyingly full, and as a woman, I didn’t feel bloated, likely due to their commitment to cooking with 100% seed oil. This is one of the few restaurants in Charlotte I hope will stay around for future visits!

    It was easy to find, parking was great! The overall ambiance of the restaurant was amazing! The staff were friendly and the food..omg good! The drinks are different if you’re open to trying new things but they have a full bar so you also have the option to order what you want.

    The food was excellent. Loved the variety in cocktails. The food was awesome and the best thing was, that their menu included vegetarian options. We were there with friends that are vegetarian and the fact that they had options for them was really nice. Will definitely go again for another brunch.

    We were very excited to try this place out and sorely disappointed with the outcome. At 8pm on a Saturday they were out of 6-7 things on their menu. The waiter came to see us maybe three times and admitted to having issues with waiters knowing which tables they were servicing. The drinks were also very mid compared to other restaurants in the same ranking space. Wanted to love this place but sadly won’t be back.

    Recommend some acoustical panels or other acoustical options to absorb the sound when more people are in the restaurant.

    Lincoln Street Kitchen & Cocktails is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte and I never see it on anyone's "best of" lists for their food which is pretty surprising to me. While their drinks are terrific, and that is probably more broadly known, their food and the presentation is always impressive, from the side dishes to the mains. When plated, the food often look like a work of art and tastes even better than it looks. A couple favorites that you should definitely consider are the shrimp aquachile, the roasted bone marrow, the wagyu, duck breast and the mussels. I'll also add that they do have the best brussels sprouts in CLT, hands down. If you haven't been for dinner, make it a point to give it a try as it's well worth a visit. They have an exceptional brunch as well, if that's more your thing.
