Quick Breakdown: The front-of-house staff were rude and dismissive. The beer was bland. The food was delicious, but overpriced.
We made a reservation in advance but before even checking the list the host challenged us to prove that we made one. They wouldn't seat us until I pulled up the reservation on OpenTable and then they begrudgingly sat us and said that we needed to give the table back in 1.5 hours. That timeframe was totally reasonable, but the tone of the entire interaction made us feel like we were doing something wrong by showing up to our reservation.
After we were seated, we were offered sparkling or still water. We went with still and we're stuck paying for a $55 bottle of water while everyone else around us had their water glasses filled from a pitcher.
The food we ordered (fish and chips, angus sliders, and mussel and prawn linguine) was all delicious and well executed, but the price was too high for the amount and quality of food.
We ordered a beer paddle, most of which was mediocre. The pilsner was well executed and we loved the house sour, which tasted like buttered popcorn.
All things considered, we won't be returning to Little Creatures.
