Braised beef cheek was dry, surprisingly. Everywhere else that I’ve had beef cheek, it hasn’t been this dry. Especially surprised since this was supposedly wagyu. Did not finish it. Service was unfriendly.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Cambridge, and in the Boston area. The service and ambience is always 10/10, and the 90s hip-hop in the background just elevates the experience. Their ever-changing menu featuring mainstays like the BLT lettuce wraps, manti, burger, Bangkok noodles and cookie dough are always crowd pleasers. I try to make little donkey a stop every time I’m back home, can’t recommend it more.

The service was so great. Everyone was nice and attentive and worked together to make sure all the dishes were flowing and the experience was good. The cocktails were great and the food was so delicious. The cauliflower is always a treat! The fried rice and empanada both stood out.

What an absolutely delightful evening! Our first time at Little Donkey and we came with no expectations. Frigid cold and windy outside, we could feel the warmth emanating from the welcoming lights before we reached the front door. Had reservations and highly recommend! Got there a bit early. Jay, our host, was like an old friend. Made us feel at home and was able to seat us right away. Taking off our coats, we took in the friendly, festive vibe. Just the right noise level to let us know everyone was happy to be there. The playlist is perfect, like the volume. Great beer selection but we were tempted to try the original cocktail offerings. The food. Where do I start? The biggest challenge was deciding what not to order because everything looked delicious. It was. Our tableside talent, Sienna (sp) guided us quickly through some "don't miss these!" options. Delicious to the last bite (which we had the next day because we were so ambitious with the menu. So, just go. It's a whole little world full of tasty wonders.

I feel it’s been hard to find spots that live up to the “hype.” Little Donkey was such a refreshing experience in every way. The host asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion and proceeded to give us a menu with “happy anniversary” written across it. Our waitress Melissa was super pleasant, wished us a happy anniversary and brought out a complimentary toasting champagne. The menu was unique, delicious, food came out quickly, and had such great flavor. We ordered the cookie dough for dessert which they brought out with a candle to again wish us a happy anniversary. This is definitely a place you keep in mind if you have people in town and are looking for a good experience with great food. Can’t wait to try all the different menu items!
