   Steak tartare was very good. Cheese board featured generous amounts of cheese along with honeycomb, candied pecans and figs. French dip one of the best I've ever had. Wife had gnocchi and they were fantastic. 3rd time at Little Frenchie - twice for dinner, once for brunch. Excellent - one of our new favorites.

   Excellent service, quality food well prepared and presented. Prices align with location. Brunch was perfect. Dinner very good. Excellent onion soup lots of cheese, flavorful broth. Excellent steak au poivre, short rib bourguignon rich and generously portioned. Grand marnier souffle a bit sweet but great with an espresso.

   Our waitress was helpful, attentive, and nice. We ordered and split 2 salads, green beans, roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and lardon pieces in an incredible sauce. Everything tasted fantastic, and portion size was enough for 2 people to share.

   This was a mixed night at Little Frenchie. While the decor is very nice, the high ceilings help create a very loud atmosphere. Diners should know that the restaurant does not have a full bar, but their wine list is ample enough and reasonably priced. Service tends to be a bit slow. In fact, we finally decided against dessert when the waiter didn't show up for a long time. The food is a mixed bag. As a starter, I had the pate which was dry and crumbly (generally a sign of being overcooked). My wife had the escargot and they were chewy and quite difficult to get out of the shell. Our mains, on the other hand, were good. I had the scallops that were tender and cooked perfectly. I was a little puzzled by the pomme purée given its beige color, but it tasted good. My wife was also happy with her moules -- cooked just right in a tasty broth. Prices, especially for the appetizers were a bit steep. With a bottle of wine and tip, it was a $300 evening. Net-net, this was a good, not great, visit.

That said, we’re truly sorry to hear that other parts of your evening did not meet expectations. Your feedback on the pâté and escargots is taken to heart — these are classic dishes we hold dear, and we will be reviewing preparation and presentation with the kitchen. As for the service, we sincerely regret the delay that led to skipping dessert — a missed opportunity to end on a sweet note, indeed.
