For over 40 years, Il Mulino New York has prepared authentic Abruzzese cuisine with unparalleled service.

Executive Chef Michele Mazza, who hails from Naples, Italy, has proudly carried this tradition since 2003.     Third time there in two months. Everything about this place is beyond just a good experience. It has become one of my favorite restaurants . Friendly staff, delicious food , presentation is impeccable. Classy setting can be noisy. The sax  is one of my favorite instruments, but can overpower the room. But no matter, I would recommend it to everyone

    I have eaten here before and love it was excited to score New Year’s Eve reservations. Food was disgusting. Calamari was undercooked chicken parm tasted like frozen pizza like a cheap jar sauce. Bolognese was awful. So disappointed in everything. I will go back and give them another chance hoping it was because it was New Year’s Eve. Didn’t even order dessert cause concerned that would be a disappointment too

    Service was great . However , the food was mediocre at best . The fact that there is a place for a Captains tip was ridiculous lol understanding it was a holiday , we all agreed it was not worth the price. Will not return unfortunately.

    Everything was great except the lobster ravioli it was so fishy. I couldn’t even eat it. Bolognese excellent Crab cakes excellent Shrimp cocktail good but $39 for three shrimp.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was flawless. Service: The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Our server struck the perfect balance of being available without hovering. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured our glasses were always full. Food: Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. Every course exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the Chicken Parmigiana and the Rigatoni Bolognese. Price: For the quality of the food and service, the pricing was incredibly fair. It’s rare to find a restaurant that offers such an upscale experience without an extravagant price tag. Atmosphere: The ambiance was warm and inviting, striking a perfect balance between elegant and cozy. Whether you’re out for a romantic evening or a casual meal with friends, this spot delivers.
