    It was a nice little restaurant. The food was really good. I kept hearing people at other tables saying “so good” and at first I was like is it really that good? But IT REALLY WAS! We ordered the beef heart as an appetizer and the lamb shank for the entree. I’ve had beef heart at other Peruvian restaurant as well, but this one was better. It didn’t have any smell of animal offal that people may dislike. It was smoked by Apple wood so it came with the nice aroma. The sauce was good, and even the potato that came with it was so good. The lamb shank was medium rare, it looked red in the center, but it didn’t taste raw at all. It paired well with the salsa, but having it without the salsa was also good - not plain at all. It also came with a golden potato and again it was so good! The potato skin was crispy but the center was soft but not too soft. I can’t have enough of it. Unfortunately we weren’t hungry so couldn’t try more dishes or the dessert, but the food was really amazing. The reason why I gave four star is because we were seated at the corner so the ambience was not that nice. But the restaurant itself was cute, with Peruvian decoration everywhere. I am a fan of the chef now! Make sure you make a reservation because it is a small and popular restaurant.

    I ate here is a solo diner about seven years ago and have been raving about it ever since I was so excited to return to Saint Augustine and take my husband. We will return with more family.
