Lobby was just okay—not what we were hoping for. We went in seeking something more memorable, something that would make us say, “We’ll be back with friends.” Instead, we found ourselves discussing what to write in a fair review while still sitting at the table—a telling sign.
The atmosphere felt unfinished. The name of the restaurant seems fitting because dining here truly felt like eating in a lobby—or perhaps a storage room for old restaurant benches and bistro tables that, while not mismatched, lacked any sense of cohesion or charm.
Service and drinks were underwhelming. My son and I ordered soft drinks, but they arrived flat and tasteless. When we raised this with our server, we were told, “They all come from the same nozzle, so they’ll all be like that.” So, flat drinks it was.
The food timing was another disappointment. My wife and daughter’s meals arrived first, but they were barely warm—my wife described hers as just above room temperature. Meanwhile, my chicken and waffles were excellent, but they didn’t come out until the other meals were nearly finished. By then, the shared dining experience felt disjointed.
As a family, we rated the experience: two 7’s, two 6’s. Perhaps there’s potential here, but for now, it’s “maybe next time.”
