   I would serve bread. Menu is limited but food is very good! I would like the opportunity to have the pizza at the bar on a Friday night. Best part is the preparation of the food.

   Used to be called Locale - one of our favorite local spots. Entire previous menu was 4.5-5/5 stars. We were surprised and disappointed by the updated menu, food quality and dining experience compared to previous branding and menu/chef. I know they just reopened, but it was average at best. Bartender and service was, however, very good as usual. Pizza is still excellent and was the best part of our meal (carry-out menu only, and the chef was visibly upset that people were enjoying the pizza at the bar, which was odd and not terribly professional). We miss the Locale Caesar Salad (it was a truly magical Caesar) and the old pasta dishes were far more interesting, balanced, delicate and well-executed. RIP Locale, you will be missed.

   A great addition to the North End restaurant scene: small, spare dining room with a view to the open kitchen featuring homemade pastas, seasonal ingredients, elevated cuisine in an informal, convivial setting. Our choices: Hamachi crudo appetizer, green salad large enough to share, oven roasted clams, pasta w brussels spouts and black truffle. Basil panna cotta for dessert. Yum! Little Sage may become our neighborhood go-to. Note: There is a takeout pizza operation (shoutout to Locale ❤️ website ordering only) We wished for a daily special pizza on the in-house menu - even if only once a week, or available at the bar? Speaking of the bar: Craft cocktails, small but excellent wine list. Welcoming and friendly staff. If you loved Sage on Parmenter back in the day, you’ll adore Little Sage, with chef Tony Susi at the helm.

   Another great dinner! The Chicken Milanese is a very large portion, creatively presented with a light and flavorful salad. The dark chocolate with dried fruit dessert is unique and delicious, just enough to top off a wonderful meal. One request: please bring back the San Pellegrino blood orange beverage.

   Limited menu. I wish the sausage pizza wasn’t venison sausage. Ordered the shrimp scampi appetizer which was a huge plate of delicious jumbo shrimp . The short ribs and pasta had an overpowering flavor of lemon, which was probably from the lemon zest garnish.I couldn’t eat it. Lemon just didn’t go with short ribs. Therefore it was a waste of $30 dollars for an entrée that I didn’t eat. probably won’t hit this place again.

   We have always loved Locale, even back from when they mainly focused on pizza. Now it’s even better with a wider range of great options!

   Got the espresso Martini which they ask if you want Baileys or not which was a nice touch and both were delicious. Started with the Arancini that were perfect, instead of doing one giant one they give you 6 bite sized balls and the sage aioli was a perfect compliment. Ended with the Cervo pizza, generous amount of venison sausage plenty of crispy sage and perfect amount cook on the pizza. All around great experience and lovely atmosphere, will be back sooner than later. Make a reservation!

   The new menu offers some great choices. Both the Chicken Milanese and Short Ribs with pasta were delicious, creatively prepared and presented. Salads are outstanding. So glad to have the expanded Locale back, better than ever!
