Lombardi Cucina Italiana is a celebration of authentic Italian cuisine with a modern touch. The menu features a large selection "fatto a Mano" pastas as well as an extensive array of fresh fish, meats and produce. The curated beverage program has a vast selection of worldly wines and handcrafted signature cocktails. Our forward thinking cocktail menu uses innovative ingredients from the kitchen, such as prosciutto, rosemary and amarene. I was very pleased with both the service and the food which were both impeccable and excellently presented. The only issue I experienced was a nasty surprise at the end when presented with the bill that the restaurant without informing anyone in advance was charging anyone who used a credit card, a 3% surcharge, therefore, passing along the cost of doing business to the consumer. No posted signs on the menu or in the restaurant about this in advance and it’s very disconcerting considering a lot of businesses are doing this now to consumers when it should be their cost as a business owner. Businesses are doing this more and more by dipping their toe in to see who will complain when they’ve paid this fee to the credit card companies all along.

My boyfriend and I were extremely excited to dine at Lombardi Cucina as we had a reservation for multiple weeks but our experience was more than disappointing. When we first came in the hostess was very cold but that was ok. As we got to our table we felt that our waitress was extremely rude and we were discriminated against due to our age. The waitress was rude and became slightly nicer each time we ordered. Also, she gave me a hard time about my real ID when I ordered a drink, then when a girl who looked extremely young ordered a drink, the same waitress did not even ask for her ID. Very disappointing experience.

Very slow service. Reservation at 7:30, not ready until 8pm, the waitress didn’t get our order until almost 8:30. We had to order all drinks appetizers and entree’s at once in fear we would not see service again for another half hour. Food didn’t come until 9:30.

The Kettle One vodka tasted very cheap. Added pomegranet to it and it tasted like watered down Koolaide. Order a Tito's straight up. It tasted cheap. It obvisiously was NOT Titos as I am very familiar with what it is supposed to taste like. Was not offered any bread. Was not told about the specials. Watier was awful. Atmoshpere was Awesome. Did like the tuna dish. My friend said her cauliflower soup was terrible. Its a once and done for me. Too many other great restaurants in Houston.

Atmosphere—beautiful space, lovely decor. Food—good but lacked salt. Service—terrible, waitress disappeared multiple times, we had to ask other servers for assistance. Price—high.

Exceptional service! The manager is very personable and takes extra care of their guests! Food and cocktails are consistently good and the restaurant is beautiful!

Made us wait when we had a reservation. Ambience not the best. resembles a modern, European techno bar. Music was techno pop and not our vibe. Food was decent, but nothing to rave about.
