   I would not recommend eating at Longhi's unless you had no other options. The quality of the food is below par and the prices are comparable to much better restaurants in Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua. Service was good (but it wasn't busy) and the oceanfront setting is beautiful, especially for sunset. But, let's face it, when spending Hawai'i prices you want better quality food. We had two kids meals -penne & cheese & NY strip. The fries were cold and the steak was very tough (had to pay up for steak choice). The cheese sauce was so salty it burned your mouth. Chicken Marsala was over cooked (dry & tough) and the dates tasted like it was canned (no exaggeration!!). For a restaurant that promotes itself as Italian it barely resembled Marsala except it had mushrooms. Two people got ahi tuna that was the worst I've ever seen or tasted in 30 years of coming to Hawai'ian Islands. Save yourself and don't go to Longhi's. It would have been better if we just got Marriott burgers at the pool restaurant !!

   We went to longhi's kaanapali for the first time. We met some business friends. We sat outside with beautiful ocean sunset views. Our waitress was outstanding and so was the food. I highly recommend!

   With a huge patio , families with noisy crying and whining children were inexplicably seated next to us. This was avoidable.

   Our food server was wonderful. Her name is Leslie.🫶🏼. We started with a beautiful glass of Chianti and ordered the cauliflower appetizer. Amazing! I has the bolognese 10 put of 10 and my husband had the chicken. They were helpful with some food restrictions and happily substituted to accommodate our diet. Great experience. I Look forward every year to eating at this restaurant.

   The whole artichoke appetizer was delicious! In a butter parmesan sauce. Eggplant Parmigiana and zucchini fritta just yummy. An awesome location overlooking the ocean! Great sunset dinner!

    I’ve been going to Longi’s since I was a teenager & it’s even better now that they are at their new location. Views are fabulous & food was great as always. Look for whales, we saw quite a few.
