Los Tamarindos a Farm-to-Table Restaurant is located in San José del Cabo, at the tip of México's Baja Peninsula, only a mile from the Sea of Cortez. The farm and Restaurant occupied the side of a former 19th-century sugar cane plantation. In 2003, owner and excecutive chef Enrique Silva spearheaded the property's return to agriculture, this time becoming a sustainable farm, one if the first in the area.

    A mouthwatering, four course, Christmas dinner has been carefully prepared by Chef Enrique Silva, and his talented kitchen staff. Enjoy the first and authentic Mexican farm to table restaurant in Cabo with your loved ones, in a setting like no other. Menu will begin to be served at 3:00 pm, cost per person is $68.00 USD Tax included, and children under 10 years will be at half price. Beverages and service charge are not included. Reservations are a must.

    Deléitate con suculento menu de Navidad, creado por el Chef Enrique Silva y su talentoso equipo de cocineros, disfruta con tus seres queridos de un ambiente maravilloso, en el primer y auténtico restaurante del huerto a la mesa en Los Cabos. El menu inicia desde las 3:00 pm y su precio por persona es de $1,292.00 pesos impuestos incluidos, niños menores a 10 años a mitad de precio. Bebidas y Servicio NO incluidos y serán cargados a su cuenta final.

                  El lugar es bonito, la comida no nos gustó mucho, la música es agradable, no tomaron en cuenta que celebrabamos aniversario de bodas. Los meseros fueron amables.

                  This restaurant is the BEST! The food, service, and ambiance were exceptional. We have been visiting SJD for many years and my only regret is not discovering this place earlier. Highly, without hesitation, recommend!

                  OVerall the experience and meal were excellent as usual. The ambiance created in there is fantastic as is the farm to table experience. The issue we had is that when the specials of the evening were told to us, the server didnt mention sizes of the meat or price. It ended up being a huge steak that could have easily been shared with 2-3 people and the cost was $2500 pesos. That was exhorbitant for one person and quite annoying when it was on the bill. This soured the whole evening.

                  Finally tried the last of three farm to table locations in the area. All three offer something different in the way of experience. Los Tamarindos has the vibe (more) of dining at an upscale ranch. We found the atmosphere to be very therapeutic. The smell or smoking wood as the source of fuel for the grills. The beautiful views of the property and the surrounding landscape. The sound of nature all around you. This all adds up to a very unique and invigorating experience. The service was excellent, as were the drinks. The food was professionally prepared and plated to stimulate the eyes and appetite simultaneously. Walking around the property upon finishing the meal only added to the experience. We met some other patrons and the friendly groundskeeper during our discovery of the property. The hostess was our final interaction and she couldn’t have been more sweet or authentic. All in all a great experience that became something more than great food.
