Los Tamarindos a Farm-to-Table Restaurant is located in San José del Cabo, at the tip of México's Baja Peninsula, only a mile from the Sea of Cortez. The farm and Restaurant occupied the side of a former 19th-century sugar cane plantation. In 2003, owner and excecutive chef Enrique Silva spearheaded the property's return to agriculture, this time becoming a sustainable farm, one if the first in the area.

I can not say enough about Los Tamarindos. The service was great and the menu was simple but delicious!! . Our friends from Chicago came to celebrate my birthday and they truly enjoyed the property. We can’t wait to come back.

After a short neat off-road ride arrived at very cool small farm to table restaurant. Staff super friendly, service was outstanding, the guitar player was the highlight. But then onto the food…. Greek “salad” literally had zero lettuce or greens except for some thinly sliced cucumber, but was a tasty for what it was. No bread served, asked and received dry pita bread. Main order did whole dover for two and pesto pasta. Fish impressive in size could of fed 4-5 (which they charge by weight) was mild but little overcooked/dry and came with ZERO sides except again “dry” blue corn tortillas and a warm roasted tomato salsa. For the cost definite fail. The pasta I was told was good but didn’t try. Overall I ended apologizing for the food because I ordered for the table and left thinking well… for a farm to table at least the tomatoes we’re good🤷🏼‍♂️

Really enjoyed the offering. Glad to see the Mexican restaurants embracing light and fresh cuisine and the all farm-to-table concept.

Party of 12, everything was served together hot, and in the correct order. servers were engaging, charismatic, and professional.

We’ve been to tamarjndos about 5 times now over the years and it’s always an absolutely wonderful experience. The food is awesome, the grounds are great to take in a sunset with a delicious cocktail in hand, the ambiance is amazing and much more genuinely farm to table than other comparable without the same overly produced feel. This is a must dine when in Baja

Lovely setting and dining experience: food, drinks, staff were great with low key / low volume music to complement the overall vibe. A bit ‘remote’ of a location (dirt road) but trust the signs/directions

Loved our experience here! This is the second time we’ve been and we weren’t disappointed! This will be a regular for us in the future. Be aware though, it’s not the easiest location to access but google maps was up to the challenge. Totally worth it - highly recommend!
