This was my first time going to Lost Society! The vibe was great and the music was good. The food was okay, but I’ve had better. I had the seafood linguine pasta and it wasn’t seasoned at all, so I don’t recommend that. However, the seafood in the pasta was delicious. Also, I had the crab dip and that was really good. The food was inexpensive which was surprising. There was a time limit on the mimosas, which I always think is weird, so I just got a glass of cranberry mimosa which was good. I would say the mimosa was one of the best I’ve had. Overall, I would go back but I would get something different for my entree.
My waiter wasn’t the friendliest. The mimosas are $35 per person and only the people who pay for it are allowed to drink and share mimosas. He felt the need to keep coming back to our table to make sure we weren’t sharing. It just diminished the experience. We understood the rules. We didn’t need a constant reminder. He also felt the need to continue reminding us that we had a 90 minute time limit at the table. Reminded us at 1:00 and told us he would be coming to clean the table at 2:00. Our resi was at 12:30. The manager did apologize and made sure we were taken care of during the rest of our stay, which was longer than the 90 minutes. We noticed other parties weren’t getting pressed out as much as us. Our waiter never returned after we asked for his manager. It was cool though. I wouldn’t want him as my waiter again, but like I said, I would go back for the food, the vibes, and the DJ (who was awesome!!).
