The Lotus Dumpling Bar began life as a warehouse built in the early 1900s for the Sydney Port Authority. There are remnants of the past in this rustic space with its polished copper tones and beautifully exposed brickwork. Walsh Bay is where theold transforms into the new.

At Dumpling Bar the service is professional and familiar, being a local favourite. We look forward to welcoming you to experience our original restaurant.

This is an excellent restaurant with quality ingredients and kitchen skills. Dumplings so moorish our group of three had to fight over the fourth! And the dishes, just absolutley delightly, fulsome barramundi and pork, soft shell crab with a crab flavour preserved, I just loved this Asian food, and our service was delightful.

Food and service was graet. The booking from OpenTable had not reghistered with the restaurant so there was a delay before it was sorted

We enjoyed the delicious food but were disappointed with our glasses of $17:00 Chardonnay which were the last in the bottle and not really good enough.

Love the place. It was a quiet night but I can imagine the restaurant when it is full which might make for more noise.
