Louie Bossi's Ristorante, Bar & Pizzeria is a high-energy Italian eatery located on the famed Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. Everything on the menu is made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients. Chef Louie Bossi serves delicious house made pastas, wood burning Neapolitan pizzas, home cooked Sicilian comfort food and of course, Chef Louie's famous house cured salumi. From the hearth baked bread and artisan jams to handmade pastas and pizza dough, gelato and crema di limoncello, everything is house made using the time honored methods of old world Italian chefs.

In addition, we have a beautiful garden area called the piazza which includes a retractable roof, fire pit, and bocce ball court.     Very popular for several reasons, but this, as well as my last two dining experiences there were less than satisfactory. Food is always very good, but requests for garden seating or a quite(er) table are never honored. That is how much your Open Table reservation helps! Restaurant is generally very noisy and not conducive to conversation. Booths at Las Olas location need new springs. I am 5’11” and sunk down so much my neck was at plate level. I don’t think we will be going back.

    Love Louie bossi - it’s our go to restaurant Food is delish - varied wine list - service always excellent The only negative is even with a reservation you will probably have to wait for your table

    Extremely noisy. Under staffed for high season. Overcooked pasta. Hostess advised us we could only have table for 2 hours but the service was so slow we barely made it out in 2 hours. Not going back.

    Waiter was inattentive. He let our drinks run dry. Tables are way too close together. So loud I saw 3 women leave because it was so loud. We probably won’t be back.

    I had a wonderful experience with all the staff. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with everyone being incredibly understanding of my specific requests. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience delightful. As always, the food was absolutely delicious!

    First time at Louis Bossi's. Wish I could say it was a great experience but it wasn't. We had a reservation and were seated right away - with a cautionary note saying we needed to be gone within 2 hours. Odd? Yes, but not the biggest concern. Chris and Carly, our waitstaff, were amazing. Always attentive and friendly. Sadly, despite their best efforts things went down hill quickly as we waited and waited for our main course. At 45 minutes we were told our food would be out within 5 minutes. At 60 minutes, the food arrived - cold!! As we were already closing in on our 2 hour limit, we asked for our check rather than sending the food back. Then the wait began again as we were told that the "manager" needed to adjust our check. After waiting a bit longer, we sought out the manager to retrieve and pay our check. The manager, Cameron, suddenly appeared and blatantly lied to my face saying that he came over to our table to apologize for the delay (he did not). Not content to leave it there, Cameron then blurted out that "it's not his fault that we didn't hear his apology." Not sure who he apologized to but it wasn't our table. Sadly, based on our terrible experience and our interaction with Cameron, it is unlikely that I'll give this place another try. Kudos to Chris and Carly for trying to provide excellent service despite having to deal with a manager like Cameron.
