Louie’s by the Bay is a modern Italian steakhouse located on the waterfront along picturesque Mariners Mile in Newport Beach. With a 180-degree view of Newport Bay, a warm elegant design, and exceptional service, Louie's brings an unparalleled dining experience to Newport Beach. The restaurant is the latest addition from Ron Salisbury of El Cholo and The Cannery. The menu features authentic charcuterie and antipasti, unique pastas, prime steaks and chops, classic Italian desserts, and a truly exceptional wine list. First, our server was amazing. It was super busy for Easter Sunday and he was calm, gracious and was super prompt with everything. The live steel drum music was very festive. The menu was varied which was great for the whole family and all of the items were delicious. Wonderful meal!

The server was great. He helped get me a steak when it wasn’t on the menu. I didn’t realize Sunday afternoon was only brunch. It was taste empty, but I liked that. 😜

We love Louies! Sitting at the bar, the view, the ambiance, the food, the fireplace and Andy (& Cory) are great servers. My favorite restaurant is NB!!

My wife and I were seated immediately at a very romantic table at the side of a fireplace. The gentleman poured our waters and shortly after our waiter approached to welcome us to dinner. It felt like dining at a great friends home! My wife ordered the scallops and substituted the risotto for brocolini. I ordered the Colorado Lamb and a side of asparagus for a side. The food was delicious and the service continued to be excellent! This was a great experience of wonderful food, service, and ambience !
