In our modern day culture of immediacy and convenience where chain restaurants, fast food and instant gratification are the norm, we find ourselves craving the out of the ordinary, the unique, the thoughtful destination. We want to feel adventurous and be treated special. And at HERE we aim to do just that.

The lounge, owned by Julie Doyle and Tim DeLaughter — founders of musical groups Tripping Daisy, The Polyphonic Spree, and local fave store, Good Records (next door), promises to whisk guests away into another place and time.

The decor at HERE is inviting and chic: casual enough for your post work happy hour and yet dapper enough to channel your inner mad men cocktail party. The room features a large photo mural by Rainer Judd, daughter of artist Donald Judd, adding a touch of Marfa to the space which has been a long time inspiration and continued friendship.

Loved the food and atmosphere. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this is a cool place inside and the food offerings are great. Excellent bar service.

Fun place with a retro-cocktail bar vibe. Tucked away in a small strip across from the old Barbec’s on Garland Rd. Food is good, waitstaff is nice, friendly atmosphere. Parking is tricky during peak hours. Make reservations.
