   Amazing Italian food! We ordered starters (octopus, prawn and squid) and mains and everything was absolutely delicious! I strongly recommend visiting this place.

   We have been here many times over the past year and food had been very good. Unfortunately today the food was just ok neither of us really enjoyed our meals, the prawns still had pieces of shell on them and the main courses were just not very tasty. We maybe need to try other places for a while before returning which is a shame because we like the atmosphere and staff are very good,

   Very disappointing experience for our anniversary. Music playing at a level where we couldn't hear each other over the table. We were moved into another area but it was just the same. Husbands drink taken away before finished. Instead of apologising they brought back an empty glass which was apparently his. Very poorly dealt with. Starters were good as were beef medallions but steak pasta dish was very small for a main. Left hungry and feeling very let down.

   Honestly, the best seafood linguine I've ever had! Everything was on point and the sauce was so flavoursome! Compliments to the chef because it was bang on! Cannot wait to visit again!

   8 of us ladies really enjoyed the scrumptious food at Lucia today. The ambience was great, although a little noisy (we were probably guilty of some of it!); service a little slow but we were not in any rush, as celebrating a birthday

   Lucia's York is a great place to eat. Excellent food, well presented and served by appropriately attentive staff. Will definitely be back.

   The food was delicious! However, we were literally in the restaurant for 42 minutes and that was for a 2 course meal. We opted for Lucia as a celebratory meal on our mini moon after getting married on Friday. We wanted a full dining experience. Instead, we were rushed through 2 courses and left within 42 minutes of arrival. Very disappointed!

   Our server was fantastic, really friendly and happy to recommend an alternative when one of our choices was sold out. She checked in that the recommendation had been alright afterwards too. She was happy to chat when we asked about a comment she made to the table next to us about going to Newcastle uni near where we live. Left us to get on with it when our food arrived so a really great balance. We've been to the restaurant several times before and it never disappoints. We'll be back again soon.

    Booked for a special occasion to ask my friends to be part of my bridal party. I asked for a table that was semi private so we could do that. The table was exactly that and the venue was bright, clean and friendly. Everyone’s food was good, the service was excellent. Gluten free options are great too. Really impressed and exactly what I was after. Thank you.
