Located at the ME London on The Strand in the heart of London’s West End ( Aldwych Side ) yards away from Somerset House, Luciano by Gino D’Acampo will provide guests with luxury all day, every day dining, serving lunch, dinner & drinks, until late.

The menu, designed by Gino and his team of talented development chefs, alongside acclaimed Executive Head Chef Calogero Carlino, will be fitting for it’s location. Incorporating Italian classic dishes with a focus on quality and ingredient provenance. An authentic Italian service will complement the menu, adding to the premium and yet informal dining experience, with a large, open-theatre style kitchen taking centre stage.

Food was really good and tasty. Service was fine, except they never asked if we wanted another drink or if our meal was to our liking, it was only 5.00 and the only thing that spoilt it was the music it was loud and feeding back and more suited to a pub or dance club. We had been before and had no problems.

service staff need to be a bit more attentive. The acoustics not so good, with a large customers in, it’s hard to have a conversation.

Algehele indruk is prima; aankleding van de zaak is prachtig. De bediening is met momenten ook prima maar niet constant, zoals je wel mag verwachten in een dergelijke zaak. Het was niet druk en er liep voldoende personeel rond. Onze ober wist best hoe het moest maar we hadden de indruk ze allemaal weinig zin hadden die dag. Het voorgerecht, antipasti op een drie verdiepingen serveer schaal, was voortreffelijk. Bedoelt voor 2 personen maar voldoende voor 3. De hoofdgerechten vielen niet allemaal in goede aarde, helaas. De tomaten saus op de pizza was redelijk smakeloos. Het spaghetti bijgerecht was niet gaar en de mellanzane parimigiano was lauwwarm. De Tiramisu was in het midden nog enigszins bevroren; dan valt je niks meer in. De espresso daarentegen was heerlijk zijdezacht zoals een Italiaanse koffie betaamt. De ober kwam geen enkel moment tussendoor checken of alles oké en voldoende was… Heel eerlijk, ik heb zeker beter Italiaans gegeten op andere plekken en dat doet toch pijn in de portemonnee. Aan het einde werd het bijgerecht niet op de rekening gezet ter compensatie. Al met al een matige ervaring, jammer. Wij zullen hier niet meer terugkeren.

Food was not good, must have sat around all afternoon, turkey not chewable like rubber, disgusting not able to digest. Very disappointing experience for such a high cost.

Very disappointed with our Christmas Day experience today. Kept waiting half an hour for our table then another 30mins before we were offered our welcome drink. And our complimentary breads didn’t arrive until after our starters. Not a great way to begin. Food was average, service was non attentive. Really was anything but a special dining experience, may as well have been at any old chain restaurant.

After an hour and 15 minutes wait, dry food, long waits, tired children and a £65 service charge which we didn’t pay.. we won’t be returning. Hardly a memorable Christmas Day.. a shame because we were really looking forward to spending a wonderful Christmas as a family here…

we have just had Christmas lunch today we were rushed out never got our hot chocolate etc My mum just lost her husband and was trying to make it a nice ok Christmas and it’s been ruined My little girl was rushed to have her ice cream etc not happy won’t be back and will be writing a review And Cimerix the main receptionist/front of door was just rude and make us feel we wasn’t wanted didn’t take our coats on entering not even a merry Christmas come out her mouth Gutted was a big gino fan as was my deceased dad hence why we booked here for Christmas
