Lulu Bar is an escape from the ordinary. Its welcoming vibe is reminiscent of hidden gems from your last vacation, only better because it’s right here in your own backyard. With a healthy, Pacific-inspired menu, Lulu’s wood-fired food is light and fresh — but heavy on flavour.
Chef Joseph Sokoloff’s fare is a tribute to the Pacific Ocean and many of the regions that touch it, with influences from Asia to Hawaii, California to British Columbia. Lulu’s fun, light, and refreshing drink menu is equally well-travelled. Its wine, beer, and creative cocktail offerings will make you feel like you’re far from home — and we like that.

The Baked Hula was the highlight of the night! We sampled various dishes, including Salt & Pepper Pork Belly, Brussels Sprouts, and Lobster Dumplings. However, the Hot Dog Bao stood out as the best food item of the night.

Food was consistent, but our waitress Anna made our meal a bit miserable

Amazing food. The heated patio was really loud and hard to hear the person sitting across from you.

Great food and service and drinks. Don’t love the side patio (heated and enclosed in winter) for the ambiance but it was easier to visit as it isn’t as loud. Always have a good time here.

The restaurant is beautiful, the vibe was very promising, tiki drinks were good, but most of the food fell flat. We had the noodle salad which was probably our favourite dish of the night. The poke was good but not what we were expecting. The white fish dish was overcooked, as well the brussel sprouts. The lobster dumplings were hit or miss with our group, definitely a soft dumpling. Don’t want to write this place off because it seemed like a nice spot, but for the price most of the dishes didn’t do it for us. We would have brought this up to our server but we only saw her after the first dish came out.
