A warm welcome on a chilly night.
We 3 had steak, lamb and fishcake with chips and mixed veg.
Everything was well cooked and the chips were particularly good. Portions were generous.
We had a couple of glasses of wine and a non-alcoholic beer.
We had ice-cream and a citrus posset for dessert - great, but we didn't really have room.
Lussmans is up in Highgate, on many bus routes from Archway, Finchley etc so no need to park.
The restaurant is warm and welcoming and has been upgraded from its previous incarnation as Cote. It feels like a great local place and an alternative to the pubs which dominate the eating experience in Highgate.
