   Beef Wellington was good, though. i didn't love the truffle sauce. My husband's duck was wonderful. Oysters were excellent. French onion soup was on the bland side. Profiterole and chocolate mousse were delicious.

   The ambiance was reminiscent of my favorite restaurant in Paris. Very charming. I had the cow au vin which was superb. Hot over the stove and rich in flavor and portion size. The profiteroles are right up there with the best I’ve had. Boston is fortunate to have this charming French cafe.

   A friend and I had a lovely lunch at Ma Maison today. Even though we are both long time Boston residents this was our first time there. Our waitress was wonderful as were the other staff including the maitre d who accomodated my request for a different table away from the heat vent. It was not rushed, it was not noisy (just lively enough) and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. It really did feel like we were in Paris because everything was yummy and we could linger without any pressure to turn over our table. Merci!!

   Definitely order the French onion soup! Our lunch was delicious, the service was excellent and we will definitely be returning.
