MAASS by Chef Ryan Ratino brings a MICHELIN-accoladed team to Fort Lauderdale focusing on ingredients sourced from the finest markets. Craft cocktails and an award-winning wine list compliment the refined menu and served with warm hospitality.

    Join us for our exclusive Chef’s Counter experience. This 14 seat intimate culinary journey is where passion and flavor intersect, providing a unique and memorable experience. Prepare to indulge in an unforgettable tasting menu by Michelin-starred chef Ryan Ratino. We are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions, but need at least 2 days notice to prepare.                     We ate dinner ate dinner at the chefs table. While it is very pricey, it was well worth the experience. The food was spectacular. There is a reason that the chef has Michelin stars and there is no doubt they are coming for MAASS as well. Our host Nathan was awesome. If you get him talking music, you get a show with dinner. He was great giving us a great education on what we were eating while allowing us to enjoy the expereince. Highly recommend doing their wine pairings with the dinner. The artists in the kitchen have created an exceptionally special menu. Can’t wait to see what spring brings. Will definitely return.

                    My husband’s wine was a tiny pour - less than 6 oz. We almost thought it was a joke when they brought his glass. The focaccia snack was unimpressive - we’ve had better focaccia bread from Publix or Panera. The charred avocado appetizer was terrible - the caviar overpowered the minuscule amount of lobster salad and the avocado had zero “char”. The diver scallops were good, but a tiny portion. The chicken tasted fine but was literally three small slices of chicken. Overall terrible experience and will not be returning. We’ve had much better experiences at other restaurants within the four seasons hotels like Lido at the surf club which was just as “fancy” and same price point but much better food and value. We are both on ozempic so have small appetites but left hungry. Ridiculous especially considering the food wasn’t great and certainly not up to par for a Michelin chef.

                    Went for a special occasion and they were ready for that ahead of time. Lots of staff who were attentive but not always knowledgeable about the menu. Food was delicious although portions small. Restaurant ambience was nice, casual upscale with waitstaff wearing jackets, vibe was retro chic. They have a vegetarian menu so ask for it if you are interested but make sure the waitstaff know that is the menu you are ordering from. Glad I went but I prefer Evelyn’s.
