Welcome to MACELLAIO RC SOUTH KENSINGTON, kingdom of the Italian Fassona beef and the first butchery-restaurant opened in London.

Macellaio RC is a growing family of three Italian restaurants in London.
Our restaurants are most famous for its fine steak. In fact, Macellaio means "butcher" and we like to call our steakhouses the butchery with tables. The steak we serve is exclusively from the Fassona beef breed, sourced from special mountain valleys in the north of Genoa.

We take pride in sourcing incredible authentic Italian ingredients, food with utmost respect, preparing it with love, and expertly cooking each dish bringing to life a delightful trattoria dining experience.

Great steaks and amazing atmosfere. Really good wine. Good vibes and atmosphere. The service was really amazing 10 out of 10. One of the best restaurant in London!

Amazing Sunday roast. We had an amazing time. The staff was so friendly and we really felt at home. Coming back for sure.

Nothing positive at all to say. Came for Sunday lunch. The staff barely speak any English and are just unresponsive. Had some pretty good expensive starters off the main menu and then moved to the Sunday roast. OMG what a disgrace! Turned up cold , dry and burnt. On asking to change it unsurprisingly it turned up again after a couple of minutes in the microwave! Just don’t do it! Walk round the corner to a superb Hereford Arns

Ho prenotato il 22 settembre, con molto anticipo visto che ho mangiato lì sabato 2 novembre, e avevo un tavolo per 2 adattato a 4 all’entrata del ristorante. Abbiamo chiesto più volte di abbassare la musica perché avevamo la cassa dentro le orecchie. In più abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino che era nella wine list, ma siccome non c’era il proprietario ci ha dato un’altra etichetta facendocelo passare come un favore…poi abbiamo guardato bene la bottiglia ed era un campione gratuito vietato alla vendita. Peccato che a noi non lo ha “ regalato” ma lo abbiamo pagato!!!
