The food was very good, as it always has been in the many times we've eaten at Macon. The dining room is small and crowded, but works well enough given that reality. The service was disappointing , however. The servers were fine at the start, but rushed us later. We ordered drinks and a salad to split; my cocktail was excellent and the delicious salad was delivered on separate plates - great. We ordered our main dishes at that point. Those, however, were delivered in what seemed like only a few minutes later, while we were midway through the salad. In the future, we will plan to not order the main dish until we finish the starter, but we expect a restaurant of Macon's standards would time things better automatically.
