Mac's Place is the oldest building on the Silverton National Historic registry. The restaurant serves authentic American food like southern fried frog legs, whole trout and fried green tomatoes along with burgers and pizzas. Diners can make their own burgers and pizzas. Mac's Place is part of the Wooden Nickel Pub & Eateries, Inc. The restaurant is popular for hosting live music and serving nightly specials. Murals, hand painted art and historical photographs of Silverton decorate the walls.
