The Cavallino Family welcomes you to experience their newest addition to their family of restaurants, "Made in Italy Trattoria". Our family has been in the restaurant business spanning decades and numerous generations. More recently, the Cavallino's are the former owners of "Enzo & Lucia's" in Long Grove, IL. As our family continues to grow and expand into new suburbs, so does our network of family restaurants.

"Made in Italy Trattoria" is located in Glen Ellyn, IL. Our Italian style restaurant provides a romantic and quaint atmosphere while offering a menu made of authentic Italian family recipes prepared by actual Italians. We invite you to come and experience great Italian food which our family has perfected through decades of experience.

If you are interested in our catering, we have catering menus available in the restaurant. Any and all of the dishes that we serve are available for catering upon request even though they may not all be listed in detail on our catering menu. If you are planning on placing a catering order, please call no later than two days before pickup date. We are able to cater some of our daily specials as well, if you are interested in catering a specific special that we carry, please call for availability of that item for they are subject to change frequently. We are more than happy to accommodate catering order of any kind.

So pleased to see so many gluten free options on the menu. Everything was delicious and our waitress was a delight. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

First time dining at this restaurant. We ordered the 1/2 price pasta dishes. I had the cheese ravioli Bolognese, and my wife had the tortellini with chicken. Both were outstanding. She had the soup and I had a salad. Her soup was okay. My salad consisted of romaine lettuce and two tomatoes. Not much to the salad but the Italian dressing was very flavorful. I also ordered a diet coke and got one refill. The server was new (less than a week) and we had a lot of questions, being our first time. She was a trooper and answered everything. We were the only customers as we had a 3pm reservation and it opened at 3pm. So, overall, great food and great service. Why only 4 starts? Because when I received my bill, I was charged for the second soft drink. They do not give free refills on soft drinks. I don't think I have experienced this in many years. I realize the price of coke products has increased, but the drink was relatively small to begin with, and they charge $3.50 for a small soft drink. I even asked if there was a mistake, and was told no free refills. I guess I would have liked to have known that when I asked for a refill. I mean look, the food was great and it was half price pasta day, so I am going to return. But I'm just saying I'm not used to paying that much ($7) for a soft drink and refill. Next time I will get a chicken or veal dish, but I will remember the coke products are a bit pricey.

We have been here do many times before but the food was lackluster this time. Too much sauce on the vodka pasta the filet Vesuvio was undercooked veal Marsala was terrible. So unhappy with a birthday celebration. When we have been there to so many times before this one

We have dined at Made in Italy a few times now and every time was an excellent experience having interesting, not typical Italian dishes and very good quality at reasonable prices. We highly recommend Made in Italy as a must try Restaurant experience.
