Welcome to Madrina, where we focus on seasonal products and authentic ingredients from Spain to reimagine a menu that marries innovation and fun with Barcelona classics.

Our 37ft bar serves sangria, cocktails, and traditional tapas. In true Catalonian fashion, the bar features a ham carving station and a Spanish-style glass display case with cold bar delicacies. The open kitchen provides a window into the work from the brilliant team behind the menu, offering modern interpretations of traditional Catalonian tapas.

We are proud to be the first restaurant in Canada to earn the coveted "Restaurants from Spain" certification, identifying Madrina for the use of authentic Spanish ingredients and techniques. We are also thrilled to have been part of the Michelin Guide in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Our wine list showcases many beautiful Spanish grape varieties and regions, including some indigenous grapes, while our famed cocktail list features wonderfully creative cocktails.

Immerse yourself in the enchantment of Madrina this New Year's Eve. Enjoy an exclusive 10-course tapas menu showcasing Spain's classic flavors and traditions, carefully curated by our Chefs. Elevate your experience with a Spanish wine pairing or a bottle of our Cava to welcome 2025! Please specify any dietary restrictions in the notes of your booking. Vegetarian options available. All guests must participate in the chef's tasting menu. All bookings are non-refundable and do not include tax or 18% gratuity. Each seating will have a limit of 2.5 hours.

Great ambience. The food was good but not outstanding. Lobster dish was way overpriced for the very small portion.

I really enjoyed Madrinas. This is my 3rd time and the food is really delicious and consistent. The service is very good. The staff is so pleasant and genuinely happy to see you. They have a great wine list and the food is upscale authentic. Definitely a sharing menu. You must try the Tuna Tartare cones and Shrimp Croquetas. We also loved the Catalan Chicken wraps and The Crab and Avacado Salad Cannelloni. I would go back again. The is lots of variety and I always enjoy myself. There is a nice lively crowd and the it is always fun to mill around the Distillery District.

Had 8 different tapas. Some were tasty (Tuna cones, crab Pintxos, truffled manchego (although tiny amount of quince paste), others fairly bland (mushroom Pintxos, tortillas de patatas) and the truffled egg yolk was not nice at all. Poor value for the Anchovy Matrimonio (4 tiny slivers of anchovy $20) and Paella (4 small clams and 4 shrimp on a small plate of very ordinary Arborio $35). Cocktails were very good. Attractive decor. Good service. Music was not to my taste, repetitive electro pop.

Had a great evening at Madrina. Our server, Kai was so knowledgeable, answered our questions and offered great suggestions. Each plate was so tasty and well presented. The space is small and a little noisy but totally acceptable. A bit pricey but like it’s said, you get what you pay for. Worth it for such great service, delicious food and a delightful Tapas experience.

Staff was very knowledgeable on all menu items, very friendly and welcoming. Our server was attentive with impeccable timing. Food was delicious and ending the meal with sherry was a lovely touch.

Do not go if you want to be satisfied. Menu is very deceiving. I have been to Spain many of times and I understand tapas are small but that was ridiculous. Olives came with maybe 6 . Chicken wraps were two tiny wraps with tiny pice of fried chicken . Take a bucket of chicken and cut it up. We spent 300 each couple on tapas and we left starving. Never again
