Had a lovely meal where we had several starters to share along with a pizza. We got to try the great variety of food they offered and there were great options available on the kids menu for those not wanting to try new flavours ;) Our server was fantastic and it’s such a beautiful location suitable for any occasion!

Great restaurant for Lakeview, service and food. A favourite spot of mind for quiet dining. Been there many times and have not been disappointed. Ambience is trendy. Pizza is delicious. Had brunch today, Shakubah, poached eggs with chorizo in roasted tomatoes, garnished with feta served with pita for dipping the sauce. Great dish! Only suggestion, reduce amount of sauce, found the sauce overpowered the flavour of chorizo and eggs.

Went to Maestro’s for happy hour to celebrate our anniversary. The food menu was limited but everything was very tasty. We were treated to a delicious dessert. Our server was excellent and very attentive. All in all a very satisfactory experience.

TLDR; we had a disappointing experience overall. Details: Our family of four adults arrived a couple of minutes prior to our reservation time (6:30) & were seated in the bar lounge. We could see couples seated at tables of four & empty tables for two. What is the point of making a reservation? The bartender offered us water then we ordered cocktails & our food (prix fixe Thanksgiving, no subs or special requests). The cocktails arrived with our soup course! We had to ask for the soup to be taken & come back after our cocktails. They said it would be under the heaters. When it came back, we had to ask for spoons and pepper. It was very good squash soup. We had to ask to order wine with dinner. The bartender was unfamiliar with the wine list. They had one Beaujolais, which I said four times. They ultimately returned and asked me to point it out. By this time our food was in front of us, except for about a five-seven min. wait for one person's, causing us all to wait despite urgings to begin. My son had to request a knife since his rolled napkin held two forks. Again we requested pepper, & just two of the three meals got peppered. When the final plate arrived, they asked for pepper. The wine was opened proficiently, but the bartender chose to pour into the glass of the person on my left, who tasted it. Fine, not correct, but whatever. The wine was delicious & suited the main course very well. The mains were overall fine, but some of the turkey pieces (all breast) were oddly very hard to cut. One person has arthritis & wished for a steak knife. :( The veggies, turkey dressing, gravy, & mashed potatoes were very good. When paying, the bartender placed the machine over the bill which I took time to review. They lurked over me, so it was very awkward when trying to consider the tip. I gave 20%. They really need to be trained. Maestro's has an A team, we just didn't get them. What sad service & experience. Grateful for being able to eat out but hoped for so much more.

There was a very loud group of young women they tried to sit us by .. we had to ask to be moved to the other side of the restaurant so we could hear each other .. the service was excellent .. the food was ok .. beef carpaccio has no flavor .. needs truffle oil or Parmesan cheese or something on it .. our seafood pasta was good .. overall a nice meal but pricy ..

Unfortunately this place has gone from a great restaurant to one lacking on everything. I took my partner there for his birthday. Service was very slow, even though the server was attentive, we had to wait a long time. Got our order wrong or not at all. The only thing we got right and on time was the bill!!! We’ll try again. Hopefully it’ll go back to what it used to be.

The Seafood Tower was quite good but with a high price point. The Martini's we ordered came in highball glasses. We were told this was because we wanted them "over the rocks"! I ordered a second and that was in a Martini glass. So the bar tender did know how to make a proper one!!!! The crab legs were very difficult to handle. SIicing down the whole length of the leg would be a huge improvement.
