At MainSail, savor elevated comfort foods in our warm, inviting space featuring serene harbor views. Our menu transforms familiar and local favorites into extraordinary creations. Sample locally sourced Rhode Island oysters or dig into the Walter Burger, paired with shallot jam and brie. Add to that our heartfelt service and we’ll ensure your dining experience is memorable.

Dinner is available Wednesday- Sunday 5 PM to 9 PM.

Valet parking at the Newport Marriott is complimentary for up to 3 hours. Validation at the front desk required.

                                                                  Booked because Prix-Fixe menu looked good for restaurant week. Food was decent. Service seemed disorganized despite having limited customers on a Saturday night. Loud party going on towards back of restaurant. Lighting kept switching on low to dim while dining which was rather annoying. Noted on reservation dinner was for a birthday celebration which no one noticed. Not the best dining experience nor the worst. There are so many great restaurants in Newport. Last time I will be back to this one.

                                                                  My husband was starving and wanted to decide quickly where to eat. This restaurant was ok, but was too overpriced for what it was. It was loud considering there were only three tables being waited on, one with a small child. Usually I am very patient and tolerant of children crying, but not so that night I guess. The appetizer was average. I ordered a $40 pasta entree and it came with SIX small scallops.

                                                                  We specifically picked this restaurant because of their gluten free options. When I began asking the server questions it was clear there were not safe options on the menu (despite being marked GF)

                                                                  This was great for in a hotel. It was a small, quiet restaurant with delicious foot and great service. We highly recommend. The views of the harbor were a spectacular bonus!

                                                                  Restaurant felt a little bit like an afterthought of space usage at the hotel. Staff was attentive ambience was missing. Only saving Grace was a view across a parking lot to the wharf and the water. For a quick burger when you’re at the hotel, but they need to do more to attract outside customers . I wouldn’t book again

                                                                  Very quiet for a Friday night. Server was great. Food wasn’t the best, the fish had excess water on it, fries seasoned strangely. Calamari appetizer was delicious.
