   Food was delicious and well presented. Service could have better and more attentive. Coffee not refilled. Water not refilled. Oysters not available, aged maple liqueur unavailable. Food was great but service is in need of major improvement.

   The waiter did not explain to us that customizing an old fashion would result in the drink being 150 dollars plus taxes and tips. It was the last day of my trip and I was too tired to speak with management about this. I also wrote I had a shellfish allergy and the waiter was not familiar if the sauce contains shellfish or not.

    A truly professional service, top-flight restaurant serving excellent quality, innovative and interesting dishes. Not cheap but in its class it remains value for money, with the only caveat that wine adds significantly to the cost of your meal. Probably more a function of CA government taxes and international tarriffs than the restaurant's choice. That said, the wine list is impressvely extensive with a selection of quality wines from around the world. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
