A credit card is required as a policy of the restaurant. We do not charge the card at the moment; it is just a hold. If you do not show up for the reservation, we charge $25 per person. If you decrease the number of people in your party, there is no charge. You can cancel the reservation at no cost at least 3 hours before the reserved time on the same day.

    Caldo de tomate con especias, acompañado con tiras de tortilla, chicharrón, aguacate, queso fresco y crema mexicana.

    • Crema bicolor

      Suculenta preparación elaborada a base de piñones tostados, leche, mantequilla y especias.

      Segundo Tiempo

      • Ensalada de betabel

        Remolacha horneada con espuma de queso de cabra, nuez, arúgula, vinagreta de balsámico y miel de agave.

        • Ensalada de tomate riñón y palmito

          Tercer Tiempo

          • Lomo mechado

            Suculento platillo a base de carne de puerco, zanahorias, pimientos, almendras y tocino.

            • Guajolote adobado a los 3 chiles

              Se acompaña con papa con chorizo, ensalada de nopales.

                Tradicionales romeritos navideños acompañados de camarón seco y nopales.

                • Bacalao

                  Delicioso bacalao a base de aceitunas, alcaparras, chiles y almendras acompañado de bolillo tradicional mexicano.

                          My wife & I had an amazing experience at Maíz y Agave. We had some of the best mexican food we've ever had. Thanks to Jonathon (Argentinian), who gave us some great recommendations for dishes and made sure we had an unforgettable experience.

                          Great food and even better service. Drinks and food were delicious and went to the rooftop after for the music and more importantly more margs.

                          Food was VERY GOOD and our server was also GREAT. The place is beautiful and the ambiance is very unique. That being said we were barely greeted by the hostesses, and the journey in the elevator and to the table was very quiet and somewhat awkward. At least a script should be given to these employees to at least make some small talk and make the customers feel comfortable and welcome. Also, the person that brought us our menus did not even bother to greet us, just handed us the booklets and we had to figure out which was what. Lastly, we specified our anniversary as the special occasion when we made the reservation and it was not acknowledged at all. We were not expecting anything huge but a note on the table or a simple “happy anniversary” would have made us feel special and would have made a huge difference. All in all, we had been wanting to try this place for a while and, in conclusion, we went, we saw it, we tried it , we’ll move on.

                          The restaurant is very nice, wonderful decoration and ambience. The Chamorro and carne asada were excellent but the "Romeritos" is a scam. That Mexican dish is made with mole and "Romeros" is a veggie, the plate had a spread of mole and not even one bite of romeritos. As if you ask for spaghetti but you get 3 spaghetti strings. One bite of nopal and the shrimp "tortas" has 1 tiny shrimp only. I cannot believe the chef autorize the dishes to be served like that, they really think people will not notice. Two bites of food for $39 is a scam! My mother and I got the same thing served exactly the same. It was my son's birthday and I did not want to make a fuss on his day but when I call the restaurant to complain noone answers. there is no option to talk to the manager. I want my money back.
