We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Major Tom, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we made our reservation to the time we walked out the door, everything screamed top-notch service and class. The staff? Absolute pros. Special shoutout to our amazing waiter, Tash, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home and patiently guided us through the menu. We trusted her recommendations blindly, and wow, did she deliver! Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks. We kicked off the evening with cocktails, and they were spot on—balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. For the mains, we opted for pasta and steak, both of which were perfection on a plate. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and generously portioned. And the grand finale? Their signature dessert, which wasn’t just worth the hype—it exceeded it. But what truly sets Major Tom apart is its unmatched ambience. Perched on the 40th floor with jaw-dropping views of Calgary’s skyline, the restaurant doesn’t rely on the scenery alone. Awesome experience. Food and drink was amazing. Looking out at calgary from 40 floors up makes this a special place to hang out with friends and family.

Major Tom was an incredible experience! Everything from the views to the food to the service, I am beyond impressed and think this might have been the best dinning experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! 10/10

We arrived and the table was ready and no time getting seated. Staff were friendly, courteous and answered any questions we had. The food was excellent. Our group had a great night!

Service was exceptionally slow. Our server had zero hustle. Surprising for an establishment that markets themselves as high end. The food was very salty. So if your looking for a salt coma this is the place for you. The view and ambience were both the highlights.
