The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect, the food was great, and there was a delay in getting our food. I guess we were also hungry. My husband loved the birthday presentation, and we will go back again.

The service was very good the waiters are very attentive. The accommodation for special celebrations is so thoughtful. Drinks very yummy, not a fan of the taste of the food its not horrible though but the presentation of the meals are so beautiful. Dessert was also great!

The resturaunt was very nice cocktail service was slow and they were not very busy so i can not imagine it being a busy time. Food was good a little pricy but good.

My 2 girlfriends & I had an amazing dinner experience. It was our first time dining at Makiin. The minute we walked in the door, the atmosphere felt warm & inviting— beautifully decorated. To start, we all ordered some mango cocktails, as recommended by our friendly & courteous waitress (Nan), which was very delicious. We then ordered 3 appetizers (papaya salad, fried dumplings & some other fried flat bread (?), 3 main dishes (shrimp drunken noodles, pumpkin & chicken curry, and mussels) to share, along with a sweet rice & mango dessert. The pumpkin & chicken curry and shrimp drunken noodles were the 2 star dishes for us. We plan to return.

Great atmosphere, quality of food and service. The cost was reasonable and there was not a long wait time. Would highly recommend.

The food and service were excellent. However, we were there on a Sunday night and unbeknownst to us, they had a singer in the bar area. The music was very loud and we could not visit once that started. And, we were far away from the musician. Luckily we came early and were about finished when the music started but it was very loud and thus very irritating. It was such a beautiful setting but marred by the loud music. I would check before going back again to make sure they didn’t have live music.
