    Lovely dinner @ Mala. Food was fantastic - best Risotto w/scallops I’ve had. Cosy, friendly atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

    Service was slow. We had to ask if we could order a cocktail. Found out our server was getting an order from someone who was seated after us. Food was good, but not warm enough. It was noisy and felt crowded in.

    The hostess was awesome asking us if we were ok waiting about 10 minutes before our table was ready. It was well worth the wait as she seated us at the best table in the entire restaurant. Our waitress, Katie was excellent and delightful. And the food was out of this world good! An exquisite dining experience.

    I’ve been to Mala many times tho usually for dinner. My most memorable time was before the Lahaina fire when we had sunset pupus and dinner, watched the sunrise and the moonrise along with all the charm of Lahaina boats, surfers, and fishing vessels. Thank goodness Mala is still here and remains a treasured piece of our beloved Lahaina and Front Street. Brunch did not disappoint! Service was impeccable with even the manager stopping by our table to say hello. My friends visiting from Portland for their 60th Anniversary were charmed. Mahalo, Mala!
