   Terrible experience. Rude staff. Got there 9:13 for a 9pm reservation and he said I’m too late. And by the way we don’t use opentable. So why was there still another available table for 9:30 on open table that same night. Finally he said you will need to go sit at the bar. Never going back.

   Was a very nice mother’s day treat young children welcomed and thankfully had guten free kids menu and measures in place to avoid cross contamination on gluten free foods.

   Malmaison had not 'clocked' our reservation... this seems to be a common problem. The food was OK but expensive. The menu was limited. When we ordered desserts, we were told that there would be a wait as the chef was busy... odd as the deserts were cold pre-prepared dishes I think there are better places to go in Brum

   Very average food. Service was ok but only because they offered partial refund due to the low quality. Also very noisy due to DJ in bar

   Had the Miso soup, Linguine with prawns, and the sauteed mushrooms all faboulous no photos 🤦🏽‍♀️I remembered after I polished them off 🤗 great food and service.

   Our reservation was not on the restaurant record so it was a bit stressful at the start, given we were a small bridal party. They managed to find us a table and the rest of the evening was lovely

   What a disappointment... firstly, one placemat on our table was frayed and had seen better days. We asked to have it changed and were told they didn't have any others, there was no attempt to replace it from another empty table (they were not full) the waitress just took it away. Her attitude was emphasized as the meal continued, she just didn't care. Trying to attract her attention was difficult, she preferred chatting to the manageress and this was noticed by other guests as well. The meal itself was edible, but nothing to write about and no-one seemed particularly interested.

   A real shame, good ingredients cooked poorly on the whole, from cremated rib eye to overcooked then undercooked scallops. Real Shame as last time there a couple of years ago all was good

    To start they didn't have the reservation down, they said there is something wrong with opentables system. My starter was cold and the waiter had to wipe the seats down of left over food from the people sitting there before. As the table wasn't ready we had to wait in the bar. Not an enjoyable experience wouldn't recommend.
