    The aesthetics of the restaurant were indeed very pleasant, and our experience began on a positive note with our waitress providing really good service. BUT things quickly spiraled out of control when it became clear that this restaurant was completely unprepared to handle our party of 21+ people! From the start, we asked about their guidelines for splitting checks and were explicitly told they could split the bill into two checks and accept up to five different credit cards for payment. This assurance was a joke! The first red flag? It took nearly an HOUR just to get our orders placed. (Suggestion to Mama Por Dios: Assign at least 2-3 waitresses to manage a party of this size! That’s basic hospitality.) When the food finally arrived, not only was it overpriced for the quality, but several members of our party didn’t even receive their meals at the same time as the rest of us. To make matters worse, 2-3 orders were completely wrong. By this point, our frustrations were mounting. Adding insult to injury, we couldn’t even enjoy simple conversation because the live band and DJ were so loud that we couldn’t hear the person sitting right next to us. Yes, the live music was great, but the noise level was excessive and overwhelming! As if that wasn’t enough, towards the end of the evening, the DJ started playing explicit, sexualized Hip-Hop music that felt targeted specifically at us—being the only African-American group left in the restaurant. It was insulting and disrespectful, perpetuating stereotypes as if this was the only type of music we enjoy. This place touts itself as “upscale,” yet this was anything but professional or considerate. To be continued…

    Our server Julian was outstanding. It was a busy night but he made sure we were given attention. The food was okay but extremely over priced. We were prepared to spend money but $28 dollars for three chicken rolled tacos (tacos dorados) is just robbery. The chile relleno plate and the lobster enchiladas were definitely worth the price. Not sure we would return.

    We went yestarday and I get a plate for $48 when we done and the guy service bring the tiket they chance for the place $58 like $10 more of the menú

    I really love the restaurant decor. The food was delicious I had chicken enchiladas the green sauce is scrumptious. I just wish tortilla chips with the guacamole. OMG the drinks were excellent.

    Food was overpriced and felt that it could’ve been warmer. We would have asked the waiter to turn it back but we waited so long to get our order and to get our food that we just bit our tongue. I do love the potential of the place given the ambiance but I hope that I just came on a bad day.

    It was a beautiful place inside. They were definitely short staffed because it was Christmas but the server was sweet and apologized. We understood. Food was good. Wish their dishes came with rice and beans. It was a little pricey but we will go back for the ambiance alone. Thank you.
