Born in Benevento, Chef Gerardo Giardino embarked on his culinary journey at the age of 16. With a wealth of experience gained in kitchens across Athens, New York, London, and now Costa Rica, his culinary passion centers around crafting authentic Italian dishes, reminiscent of a mother's loving preparation. Set in the just renovated El Pueblo building in Nosara, you will find us on the ground floor, with tables set all over the Carabbean-vibe inspired terrace! Join us for a dining experience that promises to delight your taste buds and leave a lasting impression.

                                                                          Mamagui is the best restaurant we’ve experienced in Costa Rica. The pasta was fresh and flavorful, the pizza perfectly balanced, and the focaccia was out of this world. The service was outstanding, with Nicolas, our waiter, being incredibly helpful and attentive. If you’re in Nosara, this spot is a must-visit for amazing food and a memorable dining experience.

                                                                          Our food was good. But our meals were delivered so ridiculously! Two diners were finished with their meal for 15 minutes before the third entree came out. We were not charged for that entree but it really put a damper on dinner. The delightful server kept apologizing but the meal did not get delivered. The place was not worth the aggravation.

                                                                          We apologize as a matter of kindness. Accordingly to your writing " our meals were delivered so ridiculously" as well as you order was quite confusional. Elegantly, we comped for the order "mistake" but I have one question, mistakes misunderstanding may happen what I am not aware is your bitterness and why you may prefer to act as an Ancient Rome censor. Life is beautiful. Bottom line, we apologized, you've been comped what else......

                                                                          Mamagui was amazing all around. Our server was the best we had anywhere in Nosara. The food, the ambience, all of it was incredible. Oskar the manager was gracious and went out of his way to make our experience a beautiful one. Would Highly recommend. Gluten and vegan friendly as well.
