    Rustic and noisy but the food and service was outstanding. We took advantage of the happy hour and the Tuesday liver and onions specials and really enjoyed the food.

    Every Thanksgiving we come from NYC to celebrate with my San Antonio-born wife’s family… and we always stop to eat at Mama’s…the great food and the superior staff make it a go-to place for us! And this morning, our server Pablo helped make it even more special… after a friendly, loud request to management at the cashier’s as we were leaving (I asked ‘where’s the Mama’s tee-shirt… we come to San Antonio once a year and I always look for a favorite restaurant tee”)… but before we walked out the door, Pablo came hurrying to us and gifted me with a Staff shirt! How cool was that😎

    Everything we ordered was fantastic. Service was great. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back to try the things on the menu. And to try their breakfast!! Highly recommend!
