Maple Tree Inn was awarded the very prestigious honor of being named in the Top 50 Southern Restaurants In America by OpenTable in 2018. We are proud to announce that the Maple Tree Inn has permanently relocated to Homewood, IL. We have maintained almost 100% of our staff and they have made the move with us.
We are still committed to the art of Cajun/Creole cooking & maintaining our status as the first and longest-running Cajun/Creole restaurant in Chicagoland. We are featuring a menu of our signature dishes including our Hickory Buttered BBQ Shrimp, Country Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Étouffée, and many more! We have boutique wines on draft, signature hand crafted cocktails, and an impressive craft beer list. Our hand crafted, premium cocktail menu highlights the very best of our repertoire.     Excellent time at this restaurant. The service was outstanding and we're still talking about the food the morning after. Definitely will be returning

    A top class dining experience in my own neighborhood. My family came out to celebrate my father’s birthday. The staff was so nice. Everyone coming by to say happy birthday. The food was delicious. I had a cup of seafood gumbo which was delicious. For an entree I had the blackened rib eye which was prepared to perfection. Our waiter, Adam, was so delightful. He was funny, always there when one of our glasses was empty, & had the perfect personality for this job. Looking forward to our next time visiting Maple Tree.

    It was a great time with friends and service was very good. Unfortunately, a couple of the dishes were so salty they were inedible, particularly the red beans and rice.

    Our waiter Joe was amazing, we didn’t care for the deviled oysters and he took care of it. Made our drinks sooo delicious! And he mood of the whole place was romantic.

    A beautiful room, excellent service and food that rivals New Orleans cuisine - a winning combination. Our table of six enjoyed Pitmaster Gumbo, fried green tomatoes and a lovely beet salad for starters. Entrees included Blackened Red Snapper (through the menu read Blackened Redfish), fried chicken accompanied with Mac and Cheese and two dipping sauces, Jambalaya that included crawfish, chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage. The crowing glory entree was a double cut, towering Pork Chop standing four inches high perfectly prepared. Bengiets for dessert with chicory laced coffee. Food was delivered then used plates and utensils were whisked away by unobtrusive and attentive staff. Overall, a most enjoyable meal.

    We frequently dine here and it continues to be a great spot for dinner in south suburbs. New cocktails are added weekly. Menu is consistent with a few additions here and there. They do all the menu items well. New favorites are the cranberry crisp and new chocolate dessert. Service is always top notch. A favorite in south suburbs.

    The atmosphere was very nice, the food was delicious and the waitstaff was friendly, professional, accommodating and efficient. It was 15 of us. We had a variety of appetizers and with us having a variety of dinner selections, we sampled several items from the menu.
