Maple Tree Inn was awarded the very prestigious honor of being named in the Top 50 Southern Restaurants In America by OpenTable in 2018. We are proud to announce that the Maple Tree Inn has permanently relocated to Homewood, IL. We have maintained almost 100% of our staff and they have made the move with us.
We are still committed to the art of Cajun/Creole cooking & maintaining our status as the first and longest-running Cajun/Creole restaurant in Chicagoland. We are featuring a menu of our signature dishes including our Hickory Buttered BBQ Shrimp, Country Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Étouffée, and many more! We have boutique wines on draft, signature hand crafted cocktails, and an impressive craft beer list. Our hand crafted, premium cocktail menu highlights the very best of our repertoire.     The atmosphere was very nice, the food was delicious and the waitstaff was friendly, professional, accommodating and efficient. It was 15 of us. We had a variety of appetizers and with us having a variety of dinner selections, we sampled several items from the menu.

    We were celebrating and could not have had a nicer experience. We had vegetarians with us and they were very happy with their options on the menu. Our server made our experience great. He was well informed about the menu and drinks . Everything was well timed- we did not feel rushed nor did we wait. Lovely evening! Thank you!

    Wonderful experience My husband and I were seated near the fireplace and felt it would be too warm. The waitstaff accommodated us and turned the fireplace off. Shortly thereafter, another couple sat nearby the fireplace and seemed pleased that it was off. Our server was Joe, he was phenomenal and very attentive. For starters, I had the Scallop Mornay, it was cooked to perfection, however, the crust topping was a bit salty. My husband had the Pecan Crusted Crabcakes, they were delicious. For our entrees, I had the Chicken, Sausage and Seafood Creole Jambalaya, it had a spicy kick,which I really enjoyed. My husband had the Smoked Bone- In Pork Chop, it was cooked to perfection. I had the Lemon Drop which was nice and my husband had a Margarita which was made just right. We did not see anything really appealing on the desert menu,so we declined. This restaurant is a gem in the south suburb. We had a wonderful experience, and you will, too.

    Maple Tree Inn is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The food is FANTASTIC and the service is AMAZING. I can’t wait to go back!
