The place is quite nice, they did an amazing job with the decor but as far as food and service they need to step up their game. My husband and I both ordered the arepas , his eggs were ok, mine were barely cooked. The arepas themselves were too sweet. The short rib tacos were ok a bit on the salty side. We also had the yellowtail ceviche which came in a lovely globe ( presentation was awesome) but the ceviche itself was quite dry. Our server was all over the place. One plate came out and it took a good 5 minutes before the other plates were served. When we were done eating at least 5 employees walked past our table without offering to clean up. Then we had to wait quite awhile before the person we flagged down could find our server so he could bring the check. Overall we liked the place, but food and service was not good.

Overall a good first experience. Music and food were good, noise level a bit loud could hardly hear conversations at our own table.

Food and service was great. Was concerned about the noise levels before going but it was not too loud. Very nice experience.

Everything was amazing from the service to the food and drinks. We had a wonderful experience and surely will be back! We definitely want to check out the live band on Friday night so it can be more of an amazing night.

Mar Y Sol was wonderful especially the service. Our waitress Clara did an amazing job. Would definitely go back again. The pineapple crème brûlée is a must try dessert. And the la Diablo cocktail was phenomenal. You have to order the beef short rib.

My overall experience wasn’t great at all. Services was slow, food wasn’t good and I didn’t enjoy myself at all for my anniversary. We wanted to try something new and it was so horrible I cried. It took forever to get our drinks. I wanted salmon and our waiter came back 15 mins later and said they were out of salmon. So now my wife food comes out and not mines. We are both sitting there looking crazy because we want to eat together. I decided to get the chicken, that I really didn’t want and it was horrible. She got the steak caprese and it was suppose to be medium well and it was super tough. We waited 30-45 minutes for our 2nd drink. However the manger was super sweet and took care of us and the crème brûlée was the star of the show. I really hate complaining but I would definitely try them again just to give them another chance.
