   My husband and I have six young children and a tight budget, so date nights are a rare treat. Tonight I surprised him and took him to Marcello’s. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. From the crispy brussels sprouts to the perfectly seasoned lasagna and spaghetti/meatballs, we were thrilled we chose to spend our special date night budget at such a special restaurant. Our server Steven was attentive, helpful and just everything you would hope your server would be at a nice meal. The ambiance was lovely- even the bathrooms felt special! Don’t hesitate to dine here; but DO make a reservation if you can, as the restaurant isn’t huge (but that is part of its charm!). Thank you for a lovely evening out, Marcellos!

   We have been on the North Shore for less than a year and have been looking for a go to Italian restaurant. I think we found it at Marcello’s! Darien was a great server making it a lovely experience.

   Damien was our waiter. Best server. Attentive without being invasive, very nice young man. The food is always top notch.

   We went Friday night for 6pm. We were greeted immediately and seated; our table was ready and we were seated in a corner in the wine room by the wine, which was a perfect place for the 4 of us. We each had a cocktail and they were very good. A mocktail was ordered by someone in our group and she said it was surprisingly good. We ordered one appetizer of an oyster dish that we all shared. The waitress delivered the appetizer as we were half finished with our drinks, which to us, is perfect timing. After the appetizer, my husband and I split a salad and our friends split the calamari appetizer. We enjoyed our entrees very much! The Linguini Tritone that I ordered was very delicious and I even brought half of it home, as it was a very large entree, as least to me. Last we enjoyed desserts. Definitely will return.

   Everything from greeting us at the door and checking on us at the table by the owner as well of course the food was awesome

    I love this place so much. When I want good Italian food, this is where I go. I also recommend this place to anyone who asks for good Italian food. You will not be disappointed!
