Marcella’s is a bustling, urban burst of Italian flavor & energy. Marcella’s has a lively atmosphere – whether it be for sharing dinner or a late night snack.     We live in No. KY. Across from Cincinnati Oh. Came up to Columbus just for Marcella,s got to restaurant for happy hour had several cocktails , they were great! Had a reservations For dinner at 6:15 seated with no problems, were brought bread with olive oil and vinegar. Some one had put salt in the oil , was very bad! Wait service replaced it with new oil serving, we then ordered dinner mine was fine, Wife ordered cachi pepe it was like a bowl of soup! Not good at all . Wife didn’t want me to send it back after the problem with olive oil. Very very sad food this time( we been here multi times but no more!) not worth the trip!

    Food and service were excellent. Staff was patient with us as we had a leisurely dinner with friends who we don’t see very often.

    On a very busy night, our service was top-notch. The Gnocchi con Bolognese was next-level. Very impressed.

    Great food and service! However we made a reservation and then was seated at a high top table with stools (no back) next to a window. It was cold and uncomfortable. We asked to be moved to a table and were told it would be a long wait so we stayed. It was our anniversary (which was indicatesd in the reservation). I expected a table or booth. Seems like bar seating should be walkins.

    I have been a regular at Marcellas for nearly ten years… Usually have great experiences here, but this last visit tried the new menu items and the cacio e Pepe was literally soup…. Inedible and highly disappointing. The tiramisu, which is usually great, was almost fully mascarpone and felt stale, overall a disappointing visit that left me uncertain about whether or not this CM restaurant is losing touch.

    A group of nine older adults came in for Happy Hour. We were welcomed, seated, and expertly served by 'Ria. She made us feel that she was happy that we were there and that it was her pleasure to serve us. She accurately remembered all our orders, offered us seconds, brought extra bread and was very attentive. She called our attention to the added tip but we were all happy to tip more, so outstanding was her service. The food was excellent, abundant and a real bargain. The noise level was quieter than most CM restaurants which was wonderful as we could actually hear the conversation, one to another. We will definitely come back! !
