In the heart of Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, MARCH Restaurant is an intimate Mediterranean restaurant from Chef Felipe Riccio. Serving both 6 and 9 course tasting menus, we study the gastronomy, history, and cultures of the region to answer the question:

“What is Mediterranean cuisine?”

After many years of personal and professional exploration of the Mediterranean – including extended stints at three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana and Azurmendi –Felipe has brought this spirit of exploration back to his home in Houston.

The word ‘MARCH’ signifies an area of land on the border between two territories; a frontier between realms. The menu is the team’s love letter to the Mediterranean where we will explore the unique, layered evolution of its many connected cuisines, with beverage pairings/selections artfully curated by partner and Master Sommelier, June Rodil, and the acclaimed beverage team.

An incredible experience. Attentive, knowledgeable staff (and personable). The food was unique and delicious. The attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the meal, service and ambiance. It is clear why March was awarded a Michelin star.

The food was tasty. I enjoyed the concept of relaxing with cocktails prior to being seated for dinner. The drinks were great. Offering both alcoholic and non alcoholic options. The tasting menu was beautiful and favors were tasty and at times exotic. I enjoyed the wine pairing with my meal and it didn’t disappoint. Left feeling full and satisfied. Plan to return again in the near future.

We are three friends who went to March to celebrate the birthdays of two of us. The evening was a unique and holistic experience, from the valet to the entrance to the building to the pre-sitting dinner to dinner. The food was exquisite, and the servers were very knowledgeable and told the story behind each course, making us feel truly special. The birthday celebration was a truly delicious experience from North Italy to March in Houston. Thank you!

A unique experience in Houston full of elegance and refinement. The service is outstanding and the ambiance very cosy. There is a lot of creativity in the plates and everything is delightful and very well presented. The story around the different courses is very interesting and the whole experience is real journey. We highly recommend this address.

I dined at March in September 2024, before it had received one Michelin star, with my daughter, and yesterday with my parents. Compared to two months ago, the food and presentation was equally outstanding, but the service was slower, not as fluid, and the ambience was greatly diminished due to the very high noise level. For example, in the lounge, we were served still and sparkling water, finished drinking that before our cocktail of vermouth was served, and finished drinking that before the amuse bouche was served. In the dining room, the noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hear our waiters and waitresses describe the food and the wines, even though they were standing right at our table, and it was impossible for my parents, even with hearing aids, to hear what our servers were telling us.
